E Vile VS Viscous: Tactical Anti Espionage Action

This game was made as a part of the GMTK 2023 Game Jam where the theme was “Roles Reversed”. Our take on this prompt was to use the classic PS1 game Metal Gear Solid and reverse the roles in that game.

You will be playing as the enigmatic Dr E Vile who has had her base infiltrated by the dashing but very annoying Viscous Viper. Viper has managed to turn the lights off at your base and is trying to escape, so it is up to you and your guard Dolph to find Viscous before he manages to reopen the exit.

Controls: Use your mouse to direct your guard and showing them where to search for Viscous. Your guard is armed with a trusty flashlight, so he has limited field of vision, so it is up to you to make sure he searches in the right place.

To win the game you have to do the following steps:

1:Interrupt Viscous while he is sneaking around the base, forcing him to go into hiding.

2:Catch Viscous as he is hiding somewhere around the base. If you wait too long Viscous will reassume his mission.

How do I win or lose?

The game ends if you manage to catch Viscous as he is hiding, or if Viscous manages to escape the base.
